Sun came out today!

The sun came out today and got me back on the bike. After a very long season last year (March-December) of racing. I decided to put the bike away for a bit and do a bunch of other projects. I haven't gotten many projects done, but I have been busy. Over the last few weeks I have had meetings at school almost every night. No rest for the wicked! I know that the things that I am doing in my life will pay off later so that keeps me focused.
Everyone is doing great. Will is growing and keeping me busy with reading, wrestling and just being a three year old. Julie and I have been busy with Ava. We hand her back and forth like a football when we need to get something done.
I have also started a masters program at the CU Boulder campus for linguistic and special education. So far its has been great. I have to do a lot of work, but nothings free.
anyway, back to today. Chad and I took out the fixies and rode around for awhile. Maybe 20 miles, I don't know and it doesn't matter, because the sun was out and the roads where dry. It felt good to get out. I could tell I haven't ridden in a month. My legs where good but my lungs were not. Will, Julie and I washed all the grime of the jeep and the car. They look great, but I am sure the next storm will take care of that. My goal this year is to double my posts like last year. I think I am off to a rough start. I need to step it up. P.S. Any Minnesota boys want to come out and train my door is always open.

What happens when you give me two weeks and I get BORED...

I try, and I mean, TRY. To grow a beard.

I was trying to go for "D*** in a box" look.

What's up ladies!

I always wanted to be like vanilla Ice.

My best James Hatfield!

Dont hate! Not everyone can have a mini-stach and pull it off like me.

A YEAR IN REVIEW

The year has come and gone. I have never noticed how fast it moves until I had kids. Looking back over the year, it was a good one. It had stress, love, joy, and laughter. I guess there was pain to mostly involved in the birthing process. Over all I couldn't have asked for more.
Will and Ava enjoy a day after Christmas.
Will is a great big brother and Ava is a fantastic little girl. I hope it stays that way.

We had a lot of family come and visit and help out with having a new baby around. Julie and I can't say thank you enough. We would have been in trouble without everyone's help.

In my own world the school year is going well. Lots to do but that is like most jobs. If I weren't busy, I wouldn't be happy. Julie is also doing well with her job. The company's plan wasn't clear and it brought stress to her job but now that is all cleared up and going in the right direction.

Will started pre-school in 07 and seems to be loving it. He is an amazing little boy. Some of the things he says crack us up! Just a few quotes from Will's 2007 life.

"Show me your pipes!"

" Orca Whales live in a pod dad! Not a pack!"

"When I grow up I am going to be a firefighting T-REX!"

"You're killing me!"

"UGH!!!"

This pick is from one of the snowstorms we had over the holidays.

Thanks everyone for being great people. Every person I know is a gift to me. See you in 08!
