Stay ahead of the frontloader!

Family members are sick, but that's okay because it got me out and onto the bike. The boy and wife have the flu so I was able to ride because Julie had to stay home. The plan was to only ride an hour working on cadence. The 39X16 with 34 tires did the trick until I headed North (home). Rocked out an avg of 100 rpm, that's high for me (Kind of a masher).
There was a 20 min window with a headwind that pushed me down to 65-70 rpms and my legs felt it! Tomorrow I go back to work and stress. I have my plan laid out for riding so the test will come later in the week if I can keep up with it. My biggest problem is food consumption. I have a tendency to forget to eat lunch at the right time. When I get home I am in Frontloader mode! Consuming everything I see. Cookies, salmon, chips, my taste buds do not discriminate!
